This project was developed manually by hand until July 2026; development since then is AI-assisted. By default, the terminal only shows a summary; full detail goes to the log file: Verbose, shows detailed processes: --- Features - Exports Plex media metadata into .nfo files, matching Plex's current movie/TV agents as well as the Hama agent. - Multiple naming formats for exports, e.g. poster as poster.jpg or {filename} poster.jpg . - Writes files straight into the media directory, so other media servers can pick them up immediately. - Never refreshes or modifies Plex's own library metadata , read-only against Plex. - Choose exactly which metadata fields to export (title, tagline, plot, year, etc.), and which libraries to process, or export everything. - Supports path mapping when Plex and the exporter see different filesystem layouts. - Works with movies , TV shows , and music libraries, including multiple movie titles living in the same directory. --- How to Use Using Docker (Recommended) Run the Plex NFO Exporter using the official Docker image: Docker Compose Example After the first deployment","default_branch":null,"files":null,"tree":[],"storefront":"/r/van-geaux","claimed":false,"request_supported":{"post":"https://gitbuyer.com/r/van-geaux/plex_nfo_exporter/request-supported","requests":0},"note":"indexed from public GitHub; nothing is for sale on this page.
