To track the hands, I use mediapipe with OpenCV and Python. The identified hand landmark coordinates are then packaged and sent via UDP to Godot, where the virtual hands are then visualized. ⚡ Quickstart 1. Clone the repo and open the python folder: 2. From the python folder run the python script uv run hand detection.py , this will install all the required dependencies and then open a window with your webcam stream where your hands will be detected and tracked. Keep this window open. 3. Open the Godot project in the godot folder in the Godot Game Engine and run it. 4. The game should connect to your hand detection webcam stream and visualize the detected hands in 3D. 🗞️ Tutorial Real-Time Hand Tracking in Godot — Creating Virtual 3D Clones of my Hands 🏗️ Architecture 🎬 Demos Single Hand Tracking","default_branch":null,"files":null,"tree":[],"storefront":"/r/trflorian","claimed":false,"request_supported":{"post":"https://gitbuyer.com/r/trflorian/virtual-hand-clone/request-supported","requests":0},"note":"indexed from public GitHub; nothing is for sale on this page.
