Backup the OS device (device image) to USB 1. Move Backup somewhere safe that itself is backed up (I used my existing NAS which gets backed up to BackBlaze nightly) 1. Verify moved Backup Image with Macrium (Windows) --- Installing Debian (Headless) 1. Connect NAS to Network, ensure working cable, DHCP etc. you can validate network connectivity etc with UGOS or during the Debian install 1. Create Debian netinst bootable USB using Rufus or similar tool (on Windows / Mac, your working OS of choice) 1.
