Skyve is an open-source low-code platform for building secure, scalable enterprise applications — and it's uniquely suited to AI-assisted development. Instead of generating thousands of lines of code that must be manually audited for security flaws, Skyve applications are declared in concise XML metadata. The platform interprets these declarations at runtime, enforcing security, rendering UIs, managing persistence, and handling schema evolution automatically. The entire metadata model is statically validated on every build — giving both human developers and AI agents immediate, deterministic feedback on correctness. Security by design Security in Skyve is declarative and impossible to accidentally bypass: - Role-based CRUD with row-level scoping — permissions are declared per document, enforced universally across persistence, queries, and UI. No endpoint-level checks to forget. - Payload shaping — REST and UI responses only include fields the user is permitted to see.
