If you want to use gclpr across machines, the intended setup is SSH local port forwarding so both ends still talk to localhost . Instead of exposing a plaintext clipboard service to whoever can reach a port, every client request is signed with a private key and verified by the server against trusted public keys. Installation gclpr is distributed as a single, zero-configuration binary with no external dependencies.
