It is intentionally Rust-first and keeps Node/npm/bun out of the trusted bridge path. agentnoise exists because the available agent-chat bridges were too heavy, too slow-moving, or too awkward for the simple workflow this project needs: a native desktop helper, a phone chat UI, strong first-pairing, and local coding agents that can either run directly or through an optional local policy boundary. The less polite design brief: I had to build it because everything else sucks and Jeff moves too slow. such alpha, much wow. Changelog v0.1.44 - Remote worker and subscription recovery. Login-shell workers now keep running when a non-interactive keychain restore fails, and the transport restarts wedged White Noise daemons when discovery, reconciliation, or repeated subscription exits show broken-pipe/closed-socket symptoms. v0.1.43 - Mirror work-chat answers back to the launcher. When a primary-chat command starts a new White Noise work chat, terminal job replies are also mirrored back into the primary chat so the answer remains visible even if the mobile client does not surface the newly-created chat immediately. v0.1.42 - Restart legacy wnd , do not remove it.
