It is designed to use the Deluge Web API and to be lightweight. Tested with Deluge 2.1. There are other Deluge exporters, like tobbez/deluge exporter, which exposes more metrics, but I experienced reliability and performance issues. The reason is all of them use the deluge-client for Python. That library uses the Deluge RPC API which is more complete than the Web API, but it is dependant on the Deluge version, has inappropriate reconnection logic, and it uses more resources.
