You can freely put your handwriting, text, images and vector graphics on a canvas that is about as easy to use as paper, freeing up your brain to focus on the subject matter. - Can be used to annotate PDF documents - Supports Windows and GNU/Linux. (Android support is planned, MacOS/iOS open to contribution) - Save single-page documents as SVG to interoperate with other software. - Respect system dark/light mode. Project Status The project is effectively in maintenance-mode. I (@dominiksta) and some of my friends are still using Wournal every few days for our personal note-taking. It is still too useful to just deprecate entirely. However, since I have converted to the church of C# and Blazor, I am no longer interested in maintaining a large-ish scale Typescript project. This lack of interest is made worse because I decided to write a fully custom frontend framework \"mvui\" just for Wournal, which itself is now considered deprecated for the same reason (though you can read up a few more details there in its README). If I had to do the project all over again (and there is a non-zero chance that I will one day), I would write it in Blazor and care far more about testing and module separation (which btw is one of those weirdly painful things in JS which every other mature ecosystem has figured out long ago). In any case, as I said, I am still willing to work on the occasional bugfix and PR's are still o","default_branch":null,"files":null,"tree":[],"storefront":"/r/dominiksta","claimed":false,"request_supported":{"post":"https://gitbuyer.com/r/dominiksta/wournal/request-supported","requests":0},"note":"indexed from public GitHub; nothing is for sale on this page.
