Visualise query performance and background activity, identify bottlenecks and optimise cluster performance with a single container. By Benjamin Wootton. Running Clone the repository and create your config: Edit querydog.yml with your connection details. You can configure multiple environments and switch between them from the UI: Start with Docker Compose: Access the UI at http://localhost:3001. CLI The same image ships the querydog CLI. The container entrypoint routes server to the web UI and forwards anything else to the CLI, so you can run one-off commands with docker compose run : Your querydog.yml and ./queries mounts come along automatically, and --rm cleans up the container after the command exits. Setting an alias For day-to-day use, add a shell alias so you can call the CLI like a local binary: Then: Example commands Pick an environment with -e (matches names from querydog.yml ; partial names work too). Output defaults to a table; use -f json or -f csv to pipe into other tools. Run qd help for the full command list, or qd --help for per-command flags. Add -i to drop into an interactive REPL after the first command.
