In Django, we create database schemas and API endpoints to communicate with the frontend (the client). These endpoints are designed for retrieving data from a PostgreSQL database structure, which is hosted and created using Supabase. Built on a RESTful API architecture, Vivid leverages HTTP methods such as POST, GET, PUT, and DELETE, adhering to the CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations paradigm. Our application also utilizes Django Channels to implement WebSockets, enabling real-time chat functionality seamlessly integrated into the user experience.
