Enjoy self-custodial lightning without worrying about channels. Getting started To install and configure Hydrus, check out the install and config guides. [!Note] LND is the only lightning implementation supported for now. [!Warning] This is beta software, use it at your own risk. If you want to see what Hydrus would actually do without moving any funds, set the agent.dry run field to true in the configuration and create a macaroon without permissions to open/close channels. How it works Hydrus opens channels automatically based on the state of the network graph. It also closes and re-sizes (planned for future releases) existing ones based on their characteristics (status, capacity, age) and past performance (number of forwards, fees collected, uptime and more). To interact with the agent, Hydrus offers a set of commands to execute all actions in a sequence ( hydrus agent run ) or separately ( hydrus channels sub-commands). For the full list of commands, check cli.md. The agent is completely stateless, uses only the information provided by the lightning daemon RPC API. Channel opening Hydrus constructs the network graph in memory and calculate its statistics to obtain the best scores possible for each one of the heuristics. It then compares each node in the graph against the best values to calculate its score and ranks them based on that. Lastly, it iterates through that ranking from highest to lowest scores and try to add the node ","default_branch":null,"files":null,"tree":[],"storefront":"/r/aftermath2","claimed":false,"request_supported":{"post":"https://gitbuyer.com/r/aftermath2/hydrus/request-supported","requests":0},"note":"indexed from public GitHub; nothing is for sale on this page.
