They are the same program. The Windows executable The simplest option, nothing to install. 1. Download SteamGiftBot.exe from releases. 2. Put it in a folder of its own. The bot writes config.ini , its state file and its logs beside itself, so give it somewhere to live rather than Downloads. 3. Run it. From source Needs Python 3.10 or newer. python -m steamgiftbot does exactly the same thing as python main.py . Docker The container never asks questions, so its settings arrive as environment variables or in a mounted config.ini . See Running unattended.
