No Skia canvas, no SVG tricks. v1.2.0 — Android is fixed. Through 1.1.0 the Android native module never compiled, so every measurement on Android silently fell back to JS estimates. It now loads, and predicted heights match RN Text on every row of the sample corpus. If you are on 1.1.0 or earlier and ship Android, upgrade and rebuild your development client — a JS-only reload will not pick up a native module that was never compiled. Details in the changelog.
