Time-series analysis on Git commit history to surface quality evolution, complexity trends, and maintenance risk before they become production incidents. Supports Python, JavaScript, Java, and Go. --- What It Does Static analysis tools tell you a file is complex. GitVoyant tells you whether that complexity is growing, shrinking, or stable, and at what rate. The difference is temporal context: a file with high complexity and a declining trend is healthy engineering. A file with moderate complexity and an accelerating growth rate is a future incident. GitVoyant extracts commit history for each file, computes cyclomatic complexity at every snapshot, fits linear regression to the complexity time series, and classifies the resulting pattern as IMPROVING, DECLINING, or STABLE. Each classification carries a statistical confidence score based on commit history depth. Supported Languages Language Parser Extensions --- --- --- Python Built-in ast module .py JavaScript/TypeScript tree-sitter .js , .jsx , .ts Java tree-sitter .java Go tree-sitter .go Language detection is automatic based on file extension. The --language flag restricts analysis to a single language when needed. How It Works Temporal evaluation pipeline: 1. Discover source files across all supported languages in the repository. 2. Extract per-file complexity metrics across Git commit history within a configurable analysis window. 3. Track cyclomatic complexity evolution using language-","default_branch":null,"files":null,"tree":[],"storefront":"/r/Cre4T3Tiv3","claimed":false,"request_supported":{"post":"https://gitbuyer.com/r/Cre4T3Tiv3/gitvoyant/request-supported","requests":0},"note":"indexed from public GitHub; nothing is for sale on this page.
